During this Power Hour DVMISSION 48-Hour Film Challenge founder and mission director Roy Hanney will be joined by DVMISSION veteran Tippers Pritchard for a practical workshop on story basics for filmmakers.

Surviving a 48 Hour Film Challenge requires more than just resilience it requires a good understanding of story and the ability to work fast, plot your narrative and still have time to shoot and edit the film. It really does put you under pressure and challenges you creatively.

This Power Hour session will offer top tips for ideation and story development, outline some basic principles, and will give you, the audience, an opportunity to ask questions. Whether you are 48-hour film challenger looking to develop some additional skills before this year’s #DVMISSION23. Or a just interested in storytelling for filmmakers this session will be a fun and lively exploration of the topic.
