Every year, soon after we conclude the official business for DVMISSION 48 Hour Film Challenge, we run a Hidden genius Award. Why? Well, its a bit of challenge for us to accept, judge and stage the awards ceremony in just one week after the films have all been made. And that is not an excuse its a fact of life. often, after the competition is over and we have some time to take stock it becomes clear that there is a film that didn’t win the acclaim it so rightly deserves.
To rectify this oversight on our part we run the Hidden Genius Award, for the film that the judges, and the audience missed. It’s an online vote so you can go and watch the films at your own leisure and you vote for the ones you like best. Everyone can vote once every 24 hours plus if you watch the film all the way through and like/share on social media this all counts towards the final score for the film.
